Q1- What inspired the name IMEAN?

“With a heartfelt dedication and 27 years of experience, I carefully verified every ingredient to meet the highest standard of clean beauty. IMEAN was born from my dream of creating fundamental skincare for the US, Korea, and Europe. I really MEAN it.”

Q2- What was the biggest challenge launching a skincare line rooted in clean science?

“There are so many skincare products out there—it’s overwhelming. I wanted to create a line that was clean, clinically proven, and made with honest, high-quality ingredients. The hardest part was combining clean formulation, performance, and transparency. That’s why IMEAN is built on values of authenticity, simplicity, high performance, efficacy and longevity.”

Q3- How do you define beauty personally?

“Beauty is loving yourself. It’s your authenticity. Your self-confidence. Inner beauty matters more than anything else. We have to keep reminding ourselves that we are worthy, truthful and powerful.”

Q4- What does it take to design skincare with meaning? 

“For IMEAN, it started with a passport. From Munich's precision to Korea's innovation labs, every our formulas is built on global intention—clean ingredients sourced with purpose and designed to work. Our mission was clear from the beginning: to create formulas rooted in science, guided by culture, and curated with care. That journey led us across continents, through laboratories and marketplaces, across philosophies and generations. In Munich, we stepped inside a culture where skincare is less about trends and more about trust.

In Paris, we observed the sophistication of skincare. Simple and selective. This informed how we approach every product: clean, minimal, essential. No extras. No noise. Finally, in Korea, where innovation moves fast and traditions run deep, IMEAN reconnected with a philosophy of skincare that feels both high-tech and deeply human. It reminded us that skincare can be intelligent and emotional — a way to protect what we inherit, and evolve it.”
